APPCNC Annual Conference“Twenty-Five Years of Investing in Youth”May 18-20, 2010
Join APPCNC as we celebrate our 25th anniversary at our annual conference. This year’s conference will take place at the Joseph S. Koury Convention Center in Greensboro, NC. The event kicks off with an optional pre-conference workshop on May 18th: Systems Thinking/Systems Changing™. This intensive team session will teach you how to make effective systemic change in schools. On Wednesday, May 19th, we’ll welcome James Wagoner, President of Advocates for Youth, and APPCNC Founder and current Advocates Director of Education and Outreach Barbara Huberman. The invited keynote speaker on May 20th is the U.S. Surgeon General, Dr. Regina Benjamin. Participants will also be able to choose from nearly 30 smaller breakout sessions.
