The mission of the Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention Campaign of North Carolina (APPCNC) is to support North Carolina communities in preventing adolescent pregnancy through advocacy, collaboration and education.

We help all North Carolinians by:

• Advocating for strong public policy and funding for effective programs to increase opportunities for today's adolescents to become tomorrow's healthy adults.
• Collaborating with partners at the local, state, and national levels to bring the very best in prevention to North Carolina. We have also built strong networks to serve two at-risk, yet underserved, communities - teen parents and North Carolina's Hispanic teens.
• Educating service providers, educators, teens, parents and caring adults about pregnancy prevention, evidence-based prevention strategies, effective sexuality education, and other critical prevention tools.

Preventing adolescent pregnancy is necessary if we are to ensure healthy, prosperous futures for North Carolina's teens. We are proud to work with our many supporters and partners to create these opportunities for a better North Carolina.
